Style Diaries (10/15-10/24)

This past week we celebrated my brother’s 18th birthday and it was the painters final week! Our house looks so beautiful and amazing it hard to believe it’s the same home! I am so excited to take photos in my newly painted bedroom!!!! Also attended a Halloween party for my Yorkie this past Saturday! She trick-or-treated, entered a costume contest, and I , of course,  bought her a new sweater (what? It was on sale!). It was quite a crazy week but I still managed to capture a few outfits for this week’s “Style Diaries”!

Sweater: Banana Republic (Old. Similar here) | Pants: J.Crew | Socks: J.Crew

Forgot to capture a photo the day before of my brother and I on his birthday (ooops, to much fun celebrating we didn’t pull out the camera!) Anways….. the next day I ended up cleaning, editing blog photos, and admiring how AMAZING our house is looking with fresh paint!! This banana sweater and my go to J.Crew pants are perfect for a work day like this! It’s comfy but also easy, allowing me to work with ease but also feel super cute.

Cardigan: J.Crew Factory | Vest: Abercrombie & Fitch (Old. Similar here)| Pants: J.Crew | Boots: Marc Fisher

A chilly Wednesday of grocery shopping calls for a casual look. Paired my favorite J.Crew cardigan with my Abercrombie vest to keep cozy from the cold Fall day. I purchased this vest about 2 years ago and have never really worn it until recently! Not sure why I haven’t worn it, it’s so cute and is the perfect weight to keep warm but not get over heated! I love how the charcoal grey pops against an all black outfit! I added my Marc Fisher booties (already time for boots oh my gosh!) and J.Crew pants for a super cute and comfy look!

After an insanely busy week of having the painters finishing our house and cleaning everything, my family and I finally had a few minutes to slow down and enjoy life. First, I took my little Yorkie, Ella, to her first Halloween party! She was suppose to be a bumble bee ballerina but she was embarrassed of her tutu so she went as a little lamb instead. (Yes, she was hiding in shame until we changed her costume… Stubborn girl!) After, my family went out to celebrate my younger brother’s 18th birthday at his favorite restaurant, Bravo! What better way to celebrate becoming an adult than to eat your weight in chicken parmesan?! Can’t believe my youngest brother is an adult! (Also can’t believe I one either! Time seriously needs to slow down.)

This week was a little crazy as the painters were wrapping up  but I am excited to get back into a regular routine this week with writing, blogging, and life in general! It’ll be a little easier to document outfits without so many distractions!
